Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
Mindforge is an online multiplayer quiz game. This policy explains what information is processed when you play as a guest or connect a Google account.
Information we process
- Guest play: your chosen name, achievements, card collection, game history and settings are stored in your browser’s local storage.
- Connected accounts: Supabase Authentication processes your Google account identifier and basic profile information, such as your name, email address and avatar. Mindforge stores your account identifier, display name, preferences, progress, achievements, cosmetics and game history.
- Gameplay: we process answers, scores, cards, lives, room participation and match results.
- Question feedback: signed-in players may submit question votes and reports. These are linked to the account to prevent duplicate or abusive submissions.
- Technical data: hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, timestamps, browser information and server logs.
How we use information
We use it to operate multiplayer games, synchronize progress, authenticate accounts, display statistics and cosmetics, improve questions, prevent abuse, diagnose errors and protect the service.
Legal basis and sharing
We process data to provide the service you request and, where applicable, for our legitimate interests in security and improvement. Authentication and database services are provided by Supabase; Google provides the OAuth sign-in service. Infrastructure providers may process limited technical data on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
Guest data remains in your browser until you clear it. Connected progress and match records are retained while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security, moderation and service integrity. We use access controls, row-level security and encrypted network connections, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can play without connecting an account, disconnect Google access from your Google account, clear local storage, and request access, correction or deletion of account data. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability.
Children and changes
Mindforge is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum digital-consent age in their country. We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
