# Mindforge — multiplayer trivia with a roguelike twist

Mindforge is a free survival quiz you play in the browser. Every player in a room answers the same questions on the same clock, and before each round you draft one permanent upgrade card that shapes your scoring strategy. You have three lives; wrong or missed answers cost one. The highest-scoring survivor takes the crown, and ties are shared.

## How a run works

Public runs open every 90 seconds and start automatically, even with a single player. You can also create a private room, share its six-character code, and play solo or with friends. Each run has up to thirteen questions across three drafting rounds plus a final forge, in English or French. No account is needed — a random name and a seat token keep your place if you reconnect.

## For developers and AI agents

Mindforge exposes a small public JSON API for room discovery and matchmaking, plus a WebSocket protocol for live play.
